First up;
Irish actress Saoirse Ronan (pictured) will join Peter Jackson's adaptation of "The Lovely Bones".
Ronan will play Susie Salmon, the central character in Alice Sebold's 2002 best-seller. The story is told through the voice of Susie, a young girl who is murdered but continues to observe her family on Earth after her death.
She witnesses the impact of her death on her loved ones, while her killer skillfully covers his tracks and prepares to murder again.
Shooting begins in October in Pennsylvania and New Zealand....
And...Actress Nayo Wallace has joined the cast of the live-action movie adaptation of Speed Racer.
According to a blurb in today's edition of industry insider mag Variety, Wallace will play Minx, the girlfriend of Racer X (Matthew Fox).
The Warner Bros. film is currently filming in Germany.
Wallace's other credits include the cable series Sleeper Cell and the Broadway production of The Lion King...
