Laying Down The Law

Gerard Butler (pictured) is the latest actor to pull double duty for his latest flick.

The 300 star will produce and headline the psychological thriller "Law Abiding Citizen" for his new production company Evil Twins. Butler plays a successful assistant D.A. who gets tangled up in the center of a vigilante plot hatched by overwrought victim of the legal system.



Kurt Wimmer ("Equilibrium") wrote the screenplay and production is set to begin this summer...

Butler is playing it smart with his career-at least in front of the camera-mixing it between the blockbusters and smaller flicks like this one.
