Tony Goldwyn and the fetching Monica Potter are teaming up to star in the forthcoming remake of Wes Craven's 1972 horror classic "The Last House on the Left" reports Variety.
Dennis Iliadis (Hardcore) is calling the shots.
The film tells the story of escaped convicts who take two teenage girls hostage and then take refuge in one of their girl's houses after leaving one of them for dead.
Goldwyn and Potter make great casting choices here and should be able to handle the material, which based solely on the original can be brutal...The question is will the new film be a kinder, gentler version?
Shooting is scheduled to begin this month in South Africa.
