Brett Ratner is going to team up with Eddie Murphy for a remake of 1957'sThe Incredible Shrinking Man according to the The Hollywood Reporter

Efforts to update the The Incredible Shrinking Man for a modern crowd have long been brewing.

The comedy will see Murphy as a Las Vegas magician who is cursed with a spell that causes him to shrink. If he can't find a way to stop it, he'll disappear...forever.

This makes for an interesting pairing...Murphy is looking hard for a hit that doesn't involve Shrek.

While Ratner seems to be keeping himself extra busy these days for some reason...
