Even as director David Ayer prepares to open his police drama Street Kings in theaters this Friday--He tells JoBlo that the studio has approached him about doing a prequel to the film.Ayer says "I think a prequel is actually pretty interesting. Which is, what got these people into this situation. It may sound corny but, 99.9% of people get into law enforcement because they want to help people. And so you take that, bright eyed-bushy tailed rookie, and how does he become the Tom Ludlow." (Keanu Reeves).
Over the weekend, I happened to catch an HBO First Look on "Kings" and looks like it's an above average thriller. I'm interested to see more...
