Civil Discourse

Now that his duties on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are all but done... Variety reports that director Steven Spielberg will finally begin filming his long-anticipated Abraham Lincoln biopic in early 2009.

Spielberg will actually be pulling double duty--as he will also be working on the first of three CG motion capture movies based on the popular character "Tin-Tin "

The director expects to shoot "Tin-Tin" during the early Fall, and even though that project requires an extensive post production period...He will still be able to start "Lincoln" around the same time. Both flicks would be on course for a late 2009release.

I'm excited to see what Papa Steve is going to with such an important historical figure...
