Second Try

Who would have thought that after the disaster that was 2001's Glitter that singer Mariah Carey wiuld have made another film? This one called "Tennessee"-much less that it has a distributor says Variety.

The moody drama centers on two lower-middle class brothers (Adam Rothenberg and Ethan Peck) who take to the road with hope to solve their economic and personal issues.

Along the way they meet and bring along a waitress (Carey) whose dreams of a singing career have been dashed by a bad marriage.

Directed by Aaron Woodley from a script by Russell Schaumburg features Carey performing the original ballad "Right to Dream," which she co-wrote with Willie Nelson.

"Tennessee" has to be better than Glitter? Right? Having already premiered at the Tribeca Film Fest earlier this year..

It will hit theaters this December.
