No Holds-Barred

The seemingly always controversial director David O. Russell is in talks to helm a romantic comedy "The Grackle" which the seemingly always shirtless Matthew McConaughey will both co-produce and star in reports Variety.

McConaughey plays a barroom fighter in New Orleans who hires himself out for $250 a case to settle disputes for people who can't afford to hire a lawyer--using both his foul mouth and his fists.

The script is said to have very R-rated humor in it rather than the tone of the generally tame rom-coms McConaughey 's used to doing.

Mike Arnold and Chris Poole penned the script

Let's hope the set is less problematic than O'Russell's Nailed, I Heart Huckabees, or Three Kings... Anyone wanna bet?
