The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that teen superstar Miley Cyrus is set to play the lead in the Adventures in Babysitting update as soon as she completes a few more episodes of her hit cable show "Hannah Montana".The good news is that the project is seen more as a sequel than a remake, and will be made under the title "Further Adventures in Babysitting".
Fellow tweener Raven-Symoné will co-star.
Cyrus will certainly put butts in theater seats but I doubt she can pull frazzled charm and wit the way Elisabeth Shue did for Chris Columbus over 20 years ago. Cyrus is almost too famous.
Tiffany Paulsen is writing the script and a 2010 release is targeted.
