The update still sees the inhabitants of a small Pennsylvania town torn by death and insanity after a secret biological weapon makes its way into their water supply.

The sctrpt is written by Scott Kosar and Ray Wright. Kosar previously wrote The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Amityville Horror remakes as well as the Christian Bale flick The Machinist. Wright wrote 2006’s Pulse.
