Loren Dean (TV's "Bones") joined the cast of the indie drama "Betty Anne Waters" according to The Hollywood Reporter.The story follows a working-class single mother (Hilary Swank) whose brother (Sam Rockwell is imprisoned for murder. To prove his innocence, she earns a law degree and ultimately uses DNA evidence to get him released from jail in 2001, after 18 years.
Dean will play Rick Miller, her resentful hubby
Minnie Driver and Melissa Leo, also star
Tony Goldwyn is calling action. Richard Lagravenese wrote it from Pamela Gray's original screenplay.
Shooting is now underway.
