Jaws alumni Richard Dreyfuss (pictured at right w/Robert Shaw and/Roy Scheider) will be making a brief appearance in Alexandre Aja's upcoming 3D remake of Piranha! says STYD.
His character will even be drinking Amity brand beer (the setting of "Jaws").--and might he playing fish expert Matt Hooper in the the movie?
He joins Ving Rhames Elisabeth Shue and Adam Scott
Loosely based on the original Piranha directed by Joe Dante, The updated version was penned by Aja and his writing partner Grégory Levasseur and is due out next year.
In this one a tremor causes Arizona's Lake Havasu floor to open, setting free scores of prehistoric piranhas.
The flick starts shooting next month in Arizona for release next March.
This may be the most star packed B movie made in a long while
