Richard Jenkins joins Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love reports the THR.An adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's memior the story sees a woman (Roberts) who seemingly has it all but comes to the realization that life isn't for her. After a painful divorce, she sets out on a journey of self-discovery around the world.
Jenkins plays a Texan, a man with a dark past who is also on a spiritual journey, whom Roberts' character meets at an Indian ashram.
Filming kicks off this July in New York, Rome, India and Bali.
Jenkins is quite the busy character actor....with 5 other flicks filming or in post...
Ryan Murphy adapted the script and is directing.
