I have been a fan of composer Michael Giacchino since his days working for J.J. Abrams on TV's "Alias"

The Incredibles film score is among my favorites in recent years....

Given his history with Abrams it's no surprise that Giacchino did the music for the Star Trek reboot...

The soundtrack will be released on May 5, 2009-days ahead of the film
