Book 'Em Dano

Hutch Dano joins the film adaptation of Beverly Cleary's popular Ramona book series "Ramona and Beezus" says The Hollywood Reporter.



Dano will play Henry Huggins, a classmate of Ramona's (Joey King) older sister Beezus (Selena Gomez), who has developed a crush on him.

Huggins was the first character in Cleary's fictional universe when he appeared as the title character in her first novel, "Henry Huggins," in 1950.

I read "Huggins" as a kid Romona's exploits soon followed--Weird but I'm actually intrigued by the flick...Maybe I just want to recapture my childhood?

Ginnifer Goodwin, Bridget Moynahan, John Corbett, and Jason Spevack have already been cast.

Laurie Craig adapted the material on which Elizabeth Allen will call the shots...
