Making "Hedy" Way

Rachel Weisz may be playing one of classic Hollywood's most intriguing film stars: Hedy Lamarr in “Face Value,"- directed by Amy Redford says The Hollywood Reporter.





The Austrian-American actress gained fame in the 1940s most noted for playing Delilah in Cecil B. DeMille’s biblical epic "Samson and Delilah ."

In real life she was also an accomplished scientist who helped create a method of changing frequencies, a forerunner to modern wireless communications.

That side of her life will be the focus of Redford's film.

Charlize Theron's name was attached to the part as written by Jose Rivera and Gretchen Somerfeld

Weisz has both the right look and the acting chops to pull this one off...
