Variety confirms that Jason Statham will indeed star in a remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson action thriller “The Mechanic”In the original, Bronson played a hit man who takes the son of one of his victims under his wing.
Simon West (”Con Air” Tomb Raider) is directing the update while original producers Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff serving in that capacity once again....
