Shannon Rocks

Michael Shannon's in negotiations for a lead male role in music biopic The Runaways, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kristen Stewart plays Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning is on board to play band mate Cherie Currie in the biopic of the short-lived but highly influential all-female 1970's rock band.

Shannon's involvement depends upon his crowded schedule. Details of the role however have yet to be released, though it's known to be one of several people who were personally and professionally associated with band members (band Manager?).

Shannon's turn in Revolutionary Road was truly something to see--he would make a fine addition here.
