I have been against the idea of a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" do-over as long as none of the creative forces behind the TV series were gonna be involved..Plans are moving forward....
The folks at Cine Fools have a rumor that claims “the name being thrown around for the title role is Megan Fox.”
IGN asked Buffy producer Roy Lee to comment on the story and while he says that this Fox as Buffy is just a rumor, he doesn’t actually outright deny it either.
“As with any film project with a female lead under the age of 30, Megan is the actress that most studios want so it is no surprise her name is mentioned. While I think she would be great for our project, we are still in the early stages of developing the script.”
Of course Fox is on the List They would be nuts not to consider her...
Even though I worship Fox--and think she could handle being a Slayer-Just not one named Buffy--I still can not support the reboot...
