A novel turns flick 2-fer-1...

*Another one of Greg Rucka's comic books is making the big screen leap says THR.

Queen and Country spotlights a female special Ops agent who is on the run after carrying out a high-level assassination in Eastern Europe.

Ryan Condal is writing the most recent draft of the script---

John Moore penned a previous draft.

Nicole Kidman was at one point was attached to star in the lead.

The big screen version of Rucka's Whiteout hits theaters in a few weeks....

*72 Productions has won the film rights to Venomous to the big screen says Variety.

Based upon Christopher Krovatin's book and renamed Deadlocke--the story follows a Manhattan teenager whose world is turned upside down when the dark alter ego who exists in his drawings threatens to take over his life.

Krovatin, who also wrote the book series "Heavy Metal and You", is adapting the script for the film which will also be turned into a graphic novel...
