Changing Blades

Twisted Pictures is poised to take over the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror films

Variety reports that the production company and the distributor are closing a deal for the franchise which first began back in 1974

The plan is to produce a contemporary-set 3-D (ugh more 3-D!) film take on the classic horror franchise using a script written by Stephen Susco

The deal calls for multiple films.

New Line Cinema and Platinum Dunes teamed up for the 2003 remake and its 2006 prequel (I am a fan of both of those pics), which will likely be ignored by this 'reboot'.

Twisted is the company responsible for the Saw franchise--the most lucrative horror films in history ...

All I can say is--take great care guys...please And could you maybe lose the 3-D hook...Didn't think so--just thought I would ask...
