Daddy Joins Thor Anyway

Stellan Skarsgård told Ystads Allehanda that he has joined the cast of the comic book flick Thor

Skarsgard can't reveal what role he will play,but did say that he didn't sign on to the film until after he looked over the difficult to get script.

“They wanted me to sign without reading the script. That I refused to do. Then they sent one to me that was so coded that I could only print one copy.”

Ah, the irony...Skarsgard son, Alexander was at one point rumored for the title role that eventually went to Chris Hemsworth.

Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Colm Feore and Jaimie Alexander also star.

The Kenneth Branagh-directed film will bow on May 20th 2011.
