Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in the true story drama "Same Kind Of Different As Me." says Variety.

Jackson will play Denver Moore, an ex-con drifter who develops an unlikely friendship with a wealthy Dallas art dealer named Ron Hall.

Roderick and Bruce Taylor (The Brave One) will adapt the script from the nonfiction bestseller by Hall about the story.
