Cassandra Clare's fantasy novel trilogy "The Mortal Instruments" is being prepped for the big screen says Variety.
The story revolves around teenager Clary Fray's search for her missing mother, which leads her to a city filled with mysterious fairies, raucous warlocks, vampires and other demons.
Jessica Postigo will adapt the script using all three novels ": City of Bones,"City of Ashes" and "City of Glass"
Robert Shaye and Michael Lynne will produce the pic.
One scripr combines all 3 books? Cramming it all in there in case it tanks?...Wow.
