The folks at Bloody Disgusting now report Stephen Susco, who penned The Grudge and The Grudge 2, has been hired to pen the comic book adaptation Hack/Slash.Fredrik Bond is attached to direct the live action tale created by Tim Seeley.
Cassie Hack is a woman who symbolizes the lone girl who survives at the end of every horror movie. Hack not only survived attack, she has become a killer of killers and traveling to small towns across the country hunting the likes of Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger.
Susco is also writing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3-D and The Butcherhouse Chronicles.
Given Susco's penchant to write horror--He makes a solid choice for this.
Cameras are set to roll this winter.
