Summit Entertainment will finance and domestically distribute the thriller "The Cold Light of Day" reports Variety.The story sees a young American whose family is kidnapped while on vacation to Spain. He's left with only hours to find them, uncover a government conspiracy and the connection between their disappearance and his father's secrets.
Actor/writer/director Scott Wiper (pictured) and John Petro penned the script.
Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans will produce the pic.
Filming takes place in early spring.
