Band Of Brothers

A sequel to John Singleton 2005 drama "Four Brothers" is in development says The Hollywood Reporter.

Mark Wahlberg who starred in the original, came up with the idea along with original film's scribes David Elliot and Paul Lovett who will pen the new screenplay.

Called "Five Brothers", the story details are being kept under wraps but will likely include three of the five original characters - hotheaded Bobby (Wahlberg), hard-edged Angel (Tyrese Gibson), businessman Jeremiah (André Benjamin).

The fourth, Garrett Hedlund's sensitive Jack, died in the first film but the actor could return in flashbacks

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura is coming back to produce as well.

There’s currently no word if Benjamin and Gibson will return, or if Singleton will direct the follow-up.

The original pic pulled in a modest but decent $74 million bucks and was a solid film. But a sequel? Meh...
