Stephen Norrington ("Blade," "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen") will write and direct supernatural action thriller "The Lost Patrol" says The Hollywood Reporter

Set against the backdrop of World War II, story details are being kept quiet for now.

Andrew Hilton and Matt Cirulnick penned the original script.

Norrington, busy casting for his remake of The Crow, says the project is a mix of "hardware, heroes, grime, insane monsters."

I just hope it's better than "League" --which had the same mix

Rick Porras and Steven Boyd are producing the flick.
