Paramount Pictures has set a tentative release date for the as yet Untitled Star Trek Sequel of June 29, 2012.This means the film hit theatres over the coveted July 4th holiday weekend - traditionally one of the most profitable slots on the movie calendar.
Fellow blockbuster hero Hugh Jackman recently revealed that X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 will probably shoot in 2011, also paving the way for a summer 2012 release.
The Avengers already nabbed the May 4 2012 slot.
