Andy Fickman ("Race to Witch Mountain," "She's the Man") is set to direct "The Undomestic Goddess says The Hollywood Reporter. The story--based upon Sophie Kinsella's book -follows a workaholic female attorney about to be named partner at her London firm who learns she mistakenly cost a client 50 million pounds. In a daze, she escapist the English countryside where she's mistaken as an applicant for a maid's position at a large manor and ends up becoming a housekeeper.
She soon discovers enjoyment in the slower life and the attention of a handsome gardener, but when she discovers a terrible secret about her firm she finds she can't entirely escape her past.
Aline Brosh McKenna ("The Devil Wears Prada") is adapting the script
