Medieval Halt?

Scooper 'Pinche Taco' tells Latino Review's that director Rob Cohen's latest action flick "Medieval" has been shut down.

Taco describes the film itself as "kind of "300" but set back during The Crusades" and is lead by "basically six roles for great actors, no need for a star."

He also adds that the studio suits at New Regency Enterprises suddenly decided "they want a movie star in the movie, except the movie doesn’t NEED a movie star and no movie star will do it".

There's also some internal studio politics stuff that helped lead to a shut down despite pre-production and set construction already underway in Romania at a cost of around $12 million.

Yo suits and bean counters! If done right the movie can make someone a film star Think of what Die Hard did for Bruce Willis Duh!
