The Hollywood Reporter offers up story details on the as yet Untitled Chronicles of Riddick Sequel starring Vin Diesel as the blind anti-hero

Diesel's character is "left for dead on a barren alien planet, dealing with 'trisons' (three-legged bisons) and 'mud demons. He must then contend with two squads of bounty hunters, one of which ride rockets called jetcyces.".

Sounds pretty good at least in theory...

The end of the last Chronicles of Riddick.saw him put in charge of the Necromonger army and its quest to find the Underverse. Not sure if any mention will be made at all to events in that film.

Series creator David Twohy will write and direct again

Filming will likely begin towards the end of the year...
