Pacino Takes De Niro's Son

Al Pacino is set to replace his 2-time co-star ("Heat" and "Righteous Kill) and pal Robert De Niro in the police thriller Son Of No One says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a young cop (Channing Tatum) assigned to the working class neighborhood where he grew up. He soon finds an old secret has begun to resurface and threatens to destroy his family.

Katie Holmes, Terrence Howard Ray Liotta and co-star

Tatum's A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints" and "Fighting" helmer Dito Montiel's penned the screenplay and will call action.

Not a bad trade at all...Wow!

Filming is due to begin on March 22nd in New York.
