Olivia Wilde ("Tron Legacy" in theaters everywhere on December 17) is negotiating to join in the comic book film adaptation Cowboys and Aliens according to the Heat Vision blog.Giddy up!!
The sci-fi Western hybrid sees Old West enemies - cowboys and Native Americans - joining forces when the prairie attacked by aliens in mid-1800s Arizona.
Wilde will play a character named Ella who joins up with a mysterious gunslinger (Daniel Craig).
The film is being directed by Jon Favreau from a script by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof- itself from the graphic novel created by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley
Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are producing the pic along with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
