Ron Perlman ("Hellboy") has replaced Mickey Rourke in Marcus Nispel's "Conan" remake--while G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra's Said Taghmaoui takes part as well says Vulture.
Taghmaoui will play a leader of thieves who is saved by Conan (Jason Momoa), while Perlman will play Corin, daddy of Conan.
Rourke was originally slated to play Corin but opted out to star in Tarsem Singh's "War of the Gods".
Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp and Leo Howard also star in Conan's update
Rats! I was really looking forward to Roarke as Corin--Sigh...
Filming kicks off this week in Bulgaria.
