Director-actor Taika Waititi is cast as the best friend of test pilot Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) who becomes a part of an interplanetary police force after finding a ring imbued with super powers.
Temuera Morrison (pictired) will play Abin Sur, the Corps member who turns Jordan into a superhero.
