The Beat Of A Different Biopic

Robert Saitzyk ("Godspeed") wrote and is set to direct a fictionalized drama about the final days of The Doors lead singer Jim Morrison called "The Last Beat" says The Hollywood Reporter.

Taking cues from "I'm Not There" the project is described as a "nontraditional biopic" that tracks the final days of Jay Douglas (Shawn Andrews), a famous American rock star in the early '70s as he navigates his relationships with two women in Paris.

Mark Holder and Christine Holder will be producing the film

Shooting kicks off in Paris this October.
