Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore have joined the cast of the teen romancer "Homework " says Variety.
Highmore plays a high school student who strikes up an unexpected friendship with the girl he's loved from a distance (Roberts).
Michael Angarano plays a graduate, Rita Wilson and Sam Robards are Highmore's mother and stepfather.
Alicia Silverstone, Elizabeth Reaser and Blair Underwood also star.
Gavin Wiesen wrote the script and calls the shots.
Gia Walsh Kara Baker, Darren Goldberg and P. Jennifer Dana are gonna produce
Filming is currently underway in New York City.
