Earlier this week Anchorman director
Adam McKay told the world that he was in discussions with the suits at
Paramount Pictures for
Anchorman 2 and its financing.
As it turns out the studio has decided to pass on the the idea...McKay broke the news via
TwitterNot really a big fan of the first film--despite its popularity--Still perhaps another studio could pick it up down the road
I suppose that means McKay can start prep on the film adaptation of the
Garth Ennis' comic book
