Legendary Pictures has bought the sci-fi actioner Pacific Rim from Clash of the Titans remake writer Travis Beacham, based on his 25-page treatment reports The Wrap. The story is set on a future Earth under attack from malevolent creatures, so the people of the world must band together and use highly advanced technology to thwart the growing menace.
Legendary is rushing forward to have the film ready as a Summer 2013 tentpole pic.Beacham is one busy writer--with scripts for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea The Black Hole and Clash of the Titans 2 on his plate as well
