Spidey-Writer

Veteran Spider-Man screenwriter Alvin Sargent has been brought back into the fold to do a polish of the James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) script for the Spider-Man Reboot reports Heat Vision.

Sargent, whose work involves "punching up weighty scenes", has done a similar job on the scripts for all the previous Spidey films - including the scrapped Spider-Man 4 .

A source also adds that compared to the Sam Raimi films, the new Spider-Man will be "more emotionally anchored and realistic".
