Stana Katic (TV's Castle) and Odette Yustman have been cast in the spy thriller The Double according to Reuters.
The story centers on a retired Central Intelligence Agency operative (Richard Gere) forced to partner with a young FBI agent (Topher Grace) to hunt down the killer of a senator in Washington.
Katic plays a feisty Russian prostitute who fiercely protects key information. Yustman plays Grace's wife, a strong family woman.
Stephen Moyer also stars as a Russian spy.
Scribe Michael Brandt, co-writer of the "3:10 to Yuma " remake and "Wanted", makes his directorial debut on the project which he also wrote with pal Derek Haas.
Production kicks off next week in Detroit.
