Horse Trainer


Eddie Redmayne ("Savage Grace," "The Other Boleyn Girl") has seemingly landed the lead role in Steven Spielberg's World War I epic "War Horse says "The Playlist.

An adaptation of based on Michael Morpurgo's bestselling 1982 novel--The story follows the bond between a farmer's son and his horse who are separated but who find their fates continue to intertwine over the course of the Great War. The horse is sold to the army and finds itself in the midst of the fighting on the Western Front and becomes inspiration for the soldiers around him.

The site says the British actor is "locked" for the role of Albert

Lee Hall (Billy Elliot, The Wind in the Willows) and Richard Curtis are adapting the screenplay for Spielberg Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Revel Guest to produce.

The pic is currently scheduled for release on August 10th 2011
