Bleeding Cool reports the main villain in the upcoming Spider-Man Reboot will be Dr. Curt Connors, who eventually becomes Lizard.
In the comics, Connors is a Florida surgeon who lost an arm during a stint in the army. Returning to civilian life as a research technologist, he tried to re-grow his amputated arm using an experiment in reptilian limb regeneration. The procedure worked but eventually turned him into The Lizard.
Dylan Baker played the role in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, although Baker never transformed into the villain in those films-- as Peter Parker's (Tobey Maguire) physics professor at college--for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy.
