Who will direct The Hobbit: Part 1 and The Hobbit: Part 2??
/Film posted the interesting rumor that David Yates was the studio's top choice to take the job. A few hours later Deadline said Yates along with David Dobkin and Brett Ratner (gag me!!) are potential contenders, but Warner Bros.and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer are pushing hard to get Peter Jackson back behind the camera.
Just as long as it isn't Ratner!!
Meanwhile former Hobbit helmer Guillermo del Toro has announced on his site,that he'll reveal his next directorial effort during the San Diego Comic-Con next month and not before
