Toby Kebbell and Brian Cox will star in British indie drama The Veteran says The Hollywood Reporter.

Matthew Hope calls the shots on the story which follows a young soldier returning from Afghanistan who becomes the target of a clandestine operative to monitor suspected terrorists in the UK. The film is said to explore Government's control and manipulation of the smaller players in the wars on terror and drugs.

Ashley Thomas, Adi Bielski i and Tom Brooke also star.

Hope, former SAS counter-terrorism specialist Robert Henry Craft andAdam Tysoe co-wrote the script.

Debbie Shuter and Debbie Shuter will produce the pic.

Filming kicks off later this month on location in London.
