Kenneth Branagh is in talks to play an acting legend in the Marilyn Monro biopic "My Week With Marilyn says Production Weekly.

The film is based on the diary of Colin Clark,, who in 1957, toured Monroe throughout London while his boss, Laurence Olivier, was busy making The Prince and the Showgirl co starring Monroe

Michelle Williams (Shutter Island) will play the iconic Monroe.

The role of Clark has not yet been cast.

Simon Curtis directs and shooting plans to kick off late September.

The film isn't to be confused with the other Monroe biopic "Blonde" starring Naomi Watts and directed by Andrew Dominik.
