Jeremy Irons has joined the upcoming finance-themed indie drama Margin Call reports The Press Association. The story follows eight people working at a large investment bank when the financial crisis hits the US. Over the course of a day they try to hang onto their careers as fortunes are lost all around them.
Irons plays the bank's CEO.
Kevin Spacey, Stanley Tucci, Carla Gugino Simon Baker Paul Bettany and Zachary Quinto co-star.
J.C. Chandor makes his directing debut with the script he wrote.
