Talking with CHUD director Adam McKay discussed his film adaptation of Garth Ennis' comic book The Boys saying he wants to get actor Simon Pegg to do the pic"I haven't officially signed on yet, so I haven't had any conversations with anyone, but he's got to do it. It has to be" says McKay. Ennis based the character Wee Hughie in the books on Pegg.
McKay said that the "Anchorman" sequel was planned as a Broadway musical that would've run for four months and then have jumped right into filming.
However the film is now dead and "we've moved on". They tried just to do the Broadway run on its own, but "it's too hard on the actors. And there's no money for them."
Finally McKay says he hopes to get "Step Brothers" co-stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly back for Step 2
