Late last week The Los Angeles Times reported that one time Conan director Brett Ratner was poised to take on a new Hercules pic long on development from producer Avi Lerner.

While Lerner and Ratner are pals-- Lerner's spokesfolk said "while Ratner reads all of the producer’s scripts, he’s not actually in talks for Hercules, at least, not right now."
